School Uniforms

Uniform for nursery

  • Winter Parka Coat
  • Jumper
  • P.E. Polo Shirt (worn everyday)
  • P.E shorts (worn only on Friday for PE)
  • PE Zip training Top (worn only on Friday for PE)
  • Bookbag
  • Gym bag
  • Plain black jogging bottoms (worn everyday; unbranded – available in all clothing stores)
  • Plain all black trainers (worn everyday; available in all clothing stores)

Uniform for boys

  • Shoes: plain black leather, imitation leather, suede or patent; or ankle boots. No contrasting stitching.
  • Socks: black.
  • Shirt: plain white with collar suitable to take a tie; may be short or long sleeved, must be tucked into trousers.
  • Jumper (optional): black with yellow piping. No alternative jumper or cardigan allowed.
  • Tie: yellow and black stripes.
  • Blazer: black with yellow piping and school badge.
  • Trousers: plain black, straight cut, medium width, regular fit or pleated; may have turn-ups; shoe length.

Uniform for girls

  • Shoes: plain black leather, imitation leather, suede or patent; low heel (2.5cm maximum) or flat. Ankle boots only with trousers. No strapless or backless shoes. No sequins, beads or contrasting stitching.
  • Socks: black; No frills.
  • Tights: black. No patterned tights.
  • Blouse: plain white with open neck; may be short or long sleeved, must be tucked into skirt or trousers.
  • Jumper (optional): black with yellow piping. No alternative jumper or cardigan allowed.
  • Blazer: black with yellow piping and school badge.
  • Skirt: grey, black, red, yellow and white checked skirt.
  • Trousers: plain black, straight cut, medium width, regular fit or pleated, may have turn-ups; shoe length. No Lycra. No fashion styles including ‘boot leg’, ‘ski pants’, ‘flared’, ‘drainpipe’ or jeans.

Guide

For boys and girls

  • Outer coats must be suitable to be worn over a blazer.
  • A blazer must be worn at all times.
  • Hooded sweatshirts are not appropriate for school.
  • Long hair should be tied back (when appropriate).

  • Plain white, black or yellow headbands only.
  • All items should be clearly labelled with child’s full name.

The following are not allowed

  • Canvas shoes, plimsolls, trainers, high heels, platforms. Ankle boots with a skirt.
  • Strapless/backless shoes. Shoes with contrasting stitching, sequins or beads.
  • Socks or tights with pattern or stripes.
  • Outer garments in colours other than black.
  • Hooded sweatshirts.
  • Jewellery except an inexpensive wrist watch. Sleepers/studs are not permitted in pierced ears or other body parts.
  • Make-up,  eye make-up, false or extended eye lashes, lipstick
  • Nail varnish or any artificial nails
